Punjab Inspector General (IG) Inam Ghani on Friday has taken notice of gang rape that occurred near Railway Station in Lahore. According to security personnel, the victim girl received a call from suspects Hassan and Irfan for interview at a local hotel where they both gang raped her. A case has been registered against the culprits whereas report has also been sought from Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Umar Sheikh. Earlier, Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar had taken notice of another gang rape incident that took place on Sheikhupura’s Jaranwala Road where a girl was waiting for her bus near Mangtanwala when some unidentified people gave her lift and raped her.
